It is so counterintuitive that a lot of people use it to try to invent strange theories about consciousness and the mind, etc. I think it is all rubbish. I don't understand how you, that are an skeptic and an atheist, can believe and enjoy something like this.
I'm going to leave you with a quote from Richard Feynman "I think I can safely say that nobody understands quantum mechanics" The Character of Physical Law (1965) Ch. 6rafaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14844604226711001739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5788435272805609604.post-78252892703161143032008-09-03T07:06:00.000+08:002008-09-03T07:06:00.000+08:00what a joke, its religion, stripped of its dogma a...what a joke, its religion, stripped of its dogma and traditions... no less ubsurd, devious and , oh yes, all about money> It pins the blame, shamelessly, on YOU for your problems, and if you just buy certain books and listen to certain people, all your dreams will come true. Oh well, it will never endAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5788435272805609604.post-21780917397798670792008-08-18T00:34:00.000+08:002008-08-18T00:34:00.000+08:00This documentary isn't vary factual. It's the vary example of someone using the strangeness of quantum physics to justify a certain belief system, yet ultimately getting what quantum physics says, totally wrong.

For example, it mentions how the double slit experiment shows that the way subatomic particles travel through two slits is dependent on the observation of those particles as they enter the slits. the movie uses this oddity, incorrectly, to suggest that reality is dependent on our perception of it. but in actuality the reason why the observation effects the experiment is because at the subatomic scale the only way to observe something is to effect that something you are trying to observe. This is why, for example, you can't know the position and velocity of a subatomic particle, measuring its position effects its speed, measuring its speed effects its position.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
